As a Texan, I am generally skeptical of Mexican food out of California, but these Green Label (hecho con manteca) Canasta uncooked flour tortilllas are excellent. They are a bit thinner than I am accustomed to; and no, they aren't as good as the ones Tomasa made from scratch for me when I was a boy. But they are way superior to anything you can buy in the grocery store. Delivery was timely. The packaging insures long term freshness if frozen. Highly recommended. I bought 10 dozen, and I'll buy more when these are gone.
- Made with lard. They puff nicely when cooked on a cast iron skillet pre-heated at medium heat. A bit thin, but they are not fragile. Resealable package.
