Molcajete de piedra basáltica mexicana con cabeza de cerdo
El molcajete es un utensilio de piedra, la versión tradicional mexicana del mortero y la mano de mortero. La palabra «molcajete» proviene del náhuatl « mulcazitl» . Los molcajetes suelen ser redondos y se sostienen sobre tres patas cortas. Con frecuencia se decoran con la cabeza tallada de un animal en el borde exterior del recipiente, lo que les da la apariencia de un animal pequeño, robusto y de tres patas. La cabeza de cerdo es la más común en la decoración de este tipo de molcajete. El tejolote (del náhuatl «texolotl»), el utensilio manual para moler, también está hecho de basalto (roca volcánica). Los molcajetes se utilizan para triturar y moler especias, y para preparar salsas y guacamole. La superficie rugosa del basalto crea una excelente superficie de molienda que se mantiene con el tiempo, ya que las pequeñas burbujas en el basalto se desgastan, renovando así la textura. The best salsa sauce I ever had. Can't do without them. I use it in many dishes from breakfast to dinner. It gives dishes a very unique taste without being to spicy, just enough.
I have been using this salsa for years in California, which is pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately, I moved to Puerto Rico and can't find it, thus why I ordered it. Glady that I was able to find it via your website along with my beloved Salsa Pato. Can't live without them, they have a unique salsa flavor. Love, love them.
I love this hot sauce. It’s nice and spicy and I make amazing chicken or beef enchiladas with it! This most recent time I tried turkey enchiladas and they turned out delicious! I used to live by a Kroger grocery store I could buy them from but now I have to order them online from mexgrocer and it works out fine, great company! Bring them to Giant Eagle!!
