ACHIOTE O ACHIO CONDIMENTADO
El achiote yucateco, un condimento muy apreciado, se elabora con semillas de achiote de excelente calidad, que aportan color y, por supuesto, un sazonador excepcional. Se cultiva en el clima tropical y húmedo de la península de Yucatán, en el sureste de México. Tradicionalmente, se utiliza como condimento en los famosos platillos yucatecos y centroamericanos, principalmente aquellos influenciados por la cultura maya. Es ideal para marinar o preparar carne de res, pollo y la famosísima Cochinita Pibil, ya sea a la parrilla o asada. El Yucateco Annatto o Achiote tiene dos exhibidores de estos excelentes productos: la pasta tradicional y el nuevo líquido. Sin colorantes añadidos.
CÓMO USAR ACHIOTE
¡Es muy fácil de preparar! Puedes diluir 30 ml de pasta con 1/2 taza de vinagre o 50 ml de achiote líquido. ¡Listo para usar! Puedes marinar y sazonar 1 kg de carne de res, cerdo, pollo o pescado.

I love this hot sauce. It’s nice and spicy and I make amazing chicken or beef enchiladas with it! This most recent time I tried turkey enchiladas and they turned out delicious! I used to live by a Kroger grocery store I could buy them from but now I have to order them online from mexgrocer and it works out fine, great company! Bring them to Giant Eagle!!
