Jalapenos - The world's most flavorful chiles, constitute one of the most representative ingredients of Mexican cuisine. There are many different types of chiles, but the most popular and most used in Mexican cooking is the Jalapeno. Originally grown in Jalapa, a region in the Mexican state of Veracruz (Golf of Mexico), the popularity of this chile has grown beyond its original boundaries. The Jalapeno (a chile of the plant family Capsaicum) derives its bite or heat from capsaicun, a potent chemical that survives both the cooking and freezing processes. Jalapenos can be added to anything to spice it up. The fierceness does not detract from the flavor of food, it enhances its nuances and tastes. The Jalapeno is conical in shape, tapered at the tip, more rounded than pointed. Average measure 6-8 cm (2-3 inches) in length and 3-5 cm (1-2 inches) in diameter. Intense green color, smooth texture, thick and meaty skin, it is aromatic and has a pleasant green veggie flavor, slightly biting. The seeds and veins retain heat, removing them will make the chile slightly less hot.

There's just no taco sauce like it. It's the best!
I ordered 5 jars of the Salsa, as we love this on our Tacos. The product is great, but the outdate on the jars was just shy of 6 months out. I think, that when someone orders this many jars, that whomever prepares the order for shipping should check the outdates and pick jars with longer outdates.
I warmed the tortillas in the microwave before assembling my enchiladas. The tortillas rolled up nicely without cracking, which was what I was looking for in a tortilla. Very pleased. My only issue is that there was a delay in the tortillas arriving (4 days), an issue with UPS, not the store.
The Molcajete is gorgeous, both the stone bowl and the pestle are carefully wrapped and secured in the package. We pre-treated by grinding rice before making guacamole, the guacamole is delicious.
This taco sauce is the best there is. It has a very strong tomato flavor and not vinegar tasting like most other sauces. I have not found any other sauce as good. It is especially important that it doesn't have any MSG in the ingredients. You will never try another once you've tried La Victoria.
