The best way to cure a lead free clay pot is filling it with cool water below its rim, bring water to a boil and allow to simmer for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and allow to cool the water and pot (olla frijolera), discard the water and thats all you need. The clay pot is ready for use! Clean your cazuela de barro with with a paste of salt or baking soda and water; avoid dishwashing liquids or soaps, scrub it with a plastic scraper or soft brush.

Ive been using Pico Pica almost daily for over 45 years. Can't live with out it.
The chamomile and anise herbal tea, is excellent when you or somebody in the family experience a bloated stomach, it helps with your digestion . and it has a very nice mild flavor. I always keep a package on my kitchen pantry. Have been using this tea for many years.
LaVictoria taco sauce (medium) is fantastic. Just enough kick to be enjoyable. I sure wish it was available in Florida or on Amazon as it’s quite expensive to ship to Florida. It is by far my favorite toco sauce ever!
