PREPARA TU PROPIA BEBIDA ROMPOPE MEXICANA EN CASA
El rompope es el ponche de huevo mexicano tan tradicional en Navidad.
INGREDIENTES:
1 cuarto de galón de leche 1 taza de azúcar 3 cucharaditas de vainilla mexicana 1 rama de canela 12 yemas de huevo 2 tazas de ron blanco o brandy 1/2 taza de almendras molidas y balanceadas INSTRUCCIONES
En una cacerola grande, mezcle la leche con el azúcar, añada la vainilla y la rama de canela. Lleve a ebullición. Reduzca el fuego y cocine a fuego lento, removiendo constantemente durante 15 minutos. Deje enfriar hasta que esté tibio y retire la rama de canela. Bata las yemas de huevo hasta que estén muy espesas y de un color amarillo limón. Luego, incorpórelas gradualmente a la mezcla de leche, poco a poco. Vuelva a poner al fuego y cocine a fuego lento hasta que la mezcla nape una cuchara. Deje enfriar completamente. Añada el ron y el brandy y vierta la mezcla en una botella o recipiente hermético. Refrigere uno o dos días antes de servir. Sirva en copas de licor como aperitivo o digestivo.
