No longer called la cubeta on the package BUT...
So at my local mexican grocer this is no longer called la cubeta but it is still in every way delicious. I always liked los altos cheeses over any other queso fresco but this one absolutely takes it to another level. Like another reviewer said, dangerously good. So easy to finish a whole pound.
Sweet, milky, buttery, just sublime. Horrible for diets! You have to laugh at the "resealable package. That's assuming there's ANY LEFT!

Very good packaging received in great shape. This was a replacement for one I bought from you about a year or two ago that broke during our recent move. So I know good packaging is very important!
So easy to start using because it's pre-cured (think that's what it's called) it's so easy to start using right away.
The Olla makes a BIG difference with the taste of the beans! I also have the smaller version I use to make Cafe De Olla.
My next purchase will be a clay Comal for the tortillas.
