This was a really great idea because it is so easy to use. It takes the trouble out of crumbling the Cotija. I use it to sprinkle over my fideo soup and enfrijoladas. It adds the finishing touch on all of my dishes and my family loves it.

Forget the blue cheese dressing! Top any salad, especially nopales, with this ground Cotija to bring out all of the flavor. I really like the fact that it is sold in a three-pack. That way I always have some on hand.

The Mexican Parmesan
Did you think that Parmesan is the only cheese you could add to spaghetti? Well, it's not. I was just as surprised as you will be when I tried ground Cotija on my pasta, and my beans, and my enchiladas... The list goes on and on. It brings out the flavor on all of my dishes. And since it's aged, I put the open shaker in the refrigerator, and can leave the other two unopened shakers in the pantry, just like Parmesan. It's really convenient and tastes great.
