Puya Chili Pods - Chile Puya
Puya Chili Pods by Tampico are Chilis that resemble the Guajillo Chile, but its smaller, hotter and with with a fruity flavor. Puya Chili Pods are used for pizza topings, with various meat dishes like pork and veal, pasta fillings, but also with chicken and fish in Asian Cuisine. To use the Puya Chili Pods, cleanse with warm water. Then to restore moiture to the Puya Chili Pods either add them directly in to the recipe that will cook 10 minutes or soak them in warm water for 10 minutes. After soaking you can either dice them or puree to add to your favorite recipes. To release the Puya Chli Pods flavor and more hotness, roast them on a omal griddle or in the over for 3-4 minutes!

I ordered 5 jars of the Salsa, as we love this on our Tacos. The product is great, but the outdate on the jars was just shy of 6 months out. I think, that when someone orders this many jars, that whomever prepares the order for shipping should check the outdates and pick jars with longer outdates.
I warmed the tortillas in the microwave before assembling my enchiladas. The tortillas rolled up nicely without cracking, which was what I was looking for in a tortilla. Very pleased. My only issue is that there was a delay in the tortillas arriving (4 days), an issue with UPS, not the store.
We had this candy when we visited Mexico and love it! We are excited to find it at your store. It tastes just like the one we had in Mexico!
The Molcajete is gorgeous, both the stone bowl and the pestle are carefully wrapped and secured in the package. We pre-treated by grinding rice before making guacamole, the guacamole is delicious.
This taco sauce is the best there is. It has a very strong tomato flavor and not vinegar tasting like most other sauces. I have not found any other sauce as good. It is especially important that it doesn't have any MSG in the ingredients. You will never try another once you've tried La Victoria.
Haven't used it yet, but it is exactly what I wanted!
