California chiles are also known as Anaheim chiles, New Mexico chiles. Green Chiles or Chilacas. These are mild chiles, when fresh are used for chiles rellenos. They can also be added to casseroles, stews, soups, and sauces. Its a mild heat flavor!! similar to Ancho, Poblano or Pasilla chiles.
I like to shop at MexGrocer, because I find a good selection of products, which you don't easily find on the regular grocery stores. Plus they are customer service oriented, which I appreciate very much, and also very convenient shopping from home and not battling with traffic .

La Victoria sauces are great! My favorites are Salsa Brava and the green MEDIUM (not mild) Taco Sauce. Thank you. Please make the green medium taco sauce more available!
