Grape Leaf - Grape Leaves
Roland Grape Leaves, hand packed in a 16 oz. jar, are approximately 6" long and 4" wide. Each jar contains approximately 60 leaves. The leaves are a dark olive green color and are imported from Turkey. Roland Grape Leaves make an appealing and tasty wrap for Greek and Mediterranean foods. They should be rinsed and then simmered in water for ten minutes before using to soften.

Too large and tough

I've used Roland grape leaves for years and always loved them. This year, however, I bought several jars and found them inconsistent in size as well as usability. Some leaves were huge and very tough. Many leaves were broken or had lots of holes. Also, although I rinsed each leaf individually and then rinsed the whole batch a second time, many of the larger leaves seemed to have absorbed the brine, which made these very salty tasting. The smaller leaves were fine as far as taste

the leaves are smaller than I need in general. the quality is great maybe a larger container and bigger leaves
