El origen de la sangría
La sangría es el resultado de las tradiciones españolas de elaboración y consumo de vino. No existe una historia oficial sobre la sangría, pero se cree que su origen se remonta a la antigüedad. La mayoría de los vinos mediterráneos del periodo clásico se endulzaban de alguna forma, y es probable que durante este periodo la sangría (vino con zumos de frutas) se popularizara gracias a su refrescante combinación.
El nombre «sangría» hace referencia al color del vino utilizado: vinos tintos tradicionales, fuertes y con reflejos violáceos, típicos de las zonas costeras y similares al color de la sangre (de ahí el nombre «sangre»). Los ingredientes básicos de la sangría no eran comunes en todos los países mediterráneos, salvo en España, donde crecen en abundancia. Así fue como la tradición sobrevivió y cómo la sangría se asoció con sus orígenes españoles.
En México, la tradición de beber sangría se remonta a la época colonial. I have been using this salsa for years in California, which is pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately, I moved to Puerto Rico and can't find it, thus why I ordered it. I love this hot sauce. It’s nice and spicy and I make amazing chicken or beef enchiladas with it! This most recent time I tried turkey enchiladas and they turned out delicious! I used to live by a Kroger grocery store I could buy them from but now I have to order them online from mexgrocer and it works out fine, great company! Bring them to Giant Eagle!!
