I love the water jug! The cup arrive cracked and the bottom of the cup is very thin. I used some super glue around the cracks and only use it to cover the jug. Other than that, very happy with the product!

First, I have to say, I just LOVE MexGocer! It is the only place I will order my Mexican clayware. They ship it ALL the way across the country and I haven't had one broken piece, not a chip, on anything I have ordered! Their packaging is unrivaled and they are simply THE BEST! This botellon is gorgeous and takes me back to my childhood. I will follow the other review on here about how to seal this (thanks to the the person who left that awesome tip) and will keep this in my bedroom. I miss drinking out of clay-the water is fresh , pure, and cool tasting. My entire house is a nod to my Mexican heritage so it fits in beautifully.

Does it or doesn't have lead?
I'm confused about the product. It says it's lead-free but further down there's a warning from the state of California that it does have lead. So which is it? I like the jug but I don't want to put my family's health at risk. Thanks!

Cómo curar una jarra de agua de arcilla nueva (Jarra de Barro o Botellón de Barro)
Lo que necesitas: Jarra de arcilla (y tapa), cubo grande, agua limpia, estropajo no abrasivo, opcional: vinagre, bicarbonato de sodio o agua de arroz.
Pasos:
Limpiar: Enjuaga por dentro y por fuera con agua usando un estropajo no abrasivo. No uses jabón.
Remojar: Sumerge en agua durante 12-24 horas para fortalecer y sellar los poros.
Enjuagar de nuevo: Frota suavemente bajo el agua corriente; añade bicarbonato de sodio o sal si es necesario.
Llenar y reposar: Llena con agua fresca, deja reposar unas horas y luego vacía. Algunas fugas son normales.
Secar: Limpia con un paño y seca al aire en un lugar ventilado.

This is one of my favorite hot sauces. I like it so much, I ordered the larger size.
The chamomile and anise herbal tea, is excellent when you or somebody in the family experience a bloated stomach, it helps with your digestion . and it has a very nice mild flavor. I always keep a package on my kitchen pantry. Have been using this tea for many years.
LaVictoria taco sauce (medium) is fantastic. Just enough kick to be enjoyable. I sure wish it was available in Florida or on Amazon as it’s quite expensive to ship to Florida. It is by far my favorite toco sauce ever!
