Las limas mexicanas tienen una cáscara fina, lisa y ligeramente coriácea, de color verde amarillento limón. Esta variedad, especialmente aromática y muy conocida por su forma ovalada, es apreciada por su sabor ácido, fuerte y equilibrado, y por la abundancia de su jugo. Las limas mexicanas aportan un refrescante sabor agridulce a sorbetes, pasteles helados, ponche de frutas, numerosas bebidas y cócteles, y por supuesto, está el famoso pastel de lima, el favorito de todos. Una lima imprescindible para las margaritas. Para preparar deliciosas copas de frutas, combine estas pequeñas joyas tropicales con papaya y melón. I have been using this salsa for years in California, which is pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately, I moved to Puerto Rico and can't find it, thus why I ordered it. I love this hot sauce. It’s nice and spicy and I make amazing chicken or beef enchiladas with it! This most recent time I tried turkey enchiladas and they turned out delicious! I used to live by a Kroger grocery store I could buy them from but now I have to order them online from mexgrocer and it works out fine, great company! Bring them to Giant Eagle!!
