Su color varía desde verde lima hasta verde oliva y verde oscuro; estas hojas flexibles, aunque no comestibles, pueden medir hasta tres metros de largo y sesenta centímetros de ancho. Se utilizan para envolver una variedad de alimentos, aportándoles un sutil aroma. Son ideales para envolver desde alimentos dulces hasta salados. Rellénelas con pollo, cerdo, res, ternera, huevos duros, queso, verduras, arroz, frijoles, sémola, hierbas y frutas. Envuelva su receta favorita en una hoja de plátano suavizada y cortada a la medida; deje suficiente espacio para doblar cada hoja y formar un bolsillo; átela con hilo. I love this hot sauce. It’s nice and spicy and I make amazing chicken or beef enchiladas with it! This most recent time I tried turkey enchiladas and they turned out delicious! I used to live by a Kroger grocery store I could buy them from but now I have to order them online from mexgrocer and it works out fine, great company! Bring them to Giant Eagle!!
