PIMIENTOS SERRANOS
Chiles serranos: cuyo nombre significa literalmente "de las tierras altas" o "de la montaña" (donde se cree que se originaron), son los chiles picantes tradicionales de México. Características del chile serrano: De forma alargada y cónica, con la punta redondeada y afilada, mide entre 2 y 5 cm de largo y poco menos de 1,25 cm de ancho. De color verde oscuro brillante, sin imperfecciones, con piel gruesa y firme. Su pulpa carnosa y sus semillas picantes le confieren un sabor limpio y agradablemente picante.
