I came hunting for these after an international (Italian, that month) snack box included a couple of the yellow-packaged Selz Soda Lemon Candies. They were so tart and wonderful that I wanted to track down more. Since these orange-packaged candies still called themselves Selz Soda Lemon Candies, and were made by the same company, I hoped they would be the same candy, but it seems the North American formulation is not as exciting as the European one.
MexGrocer got me the product I ordered, and quickly--I have no complaints about them. I'm a little sad that these are just OK lemon candies, not the punch-in-the-mouth I wanted, and hope this review might help someone else in a similar situation. Looks like you'll have to shell out for intercontinental shipping if you want the good stuff!
