Amazing!
I looked for this page specifically to write a review. These carnitas are so good, my husband asked for seconds (and he doesn’t usually love my cooking) my kids liked them too and I looooved them. If you’re on the fence, jump over because these are an amazing purchase.

The package needed more Ice packs coming to Texas in 100F heat. The ones in the package had all melted and was insufficient to hold for the trip.

We only ship these products from Monday thru Wednesday so they don't travel during weekends. Del Real Foods prepared Carnitas are made by using the traditional cooking methods of Michoacan, a Mexican state which has garnered worldwide recognition for their great tasting Carnitas. Our delicious fried pork can be served as a main dish or as an ingredient in countless number of recipes.
The word "Carnitas" defines what is roasted pork meat cooked gently just below cooking point. Pork carnitas is traditionally made using the upper and lower sections of the front shoulder of the hog. These sections are seasoned to the authentic carnitas flavor by Del Real Foods. The meat has a unique texture that can broken down or pulled apart by hand or by using a fork.
You can enjoy carnitas as a dish alone or make it a perfect ingredient for tamales, tacos, tortas, and burritos.
Del Real Foods Carnitas are sent in a special packaging that keeps them refrigerated during transit to your destination, so you can enjoy them right out of the box, refrigerate, or freeze for later consumption. We only ship Del Real Carnitas from Monday thru Wednesday so they don't travel during weekends.
We are sorry but we cannot ship refrigerated orders to: APO, FPO, etc, as well as Puerto Rico and Canada. All sales are final on this item and no returns are accepted.
