Pulparindo - Extra Hot and Salted Tamarind Pulp Mexican Candy
Hot Pulparindo is made from the pulp of the tamarind, and is flavoured with sugar, salt, and chiles, making it sweet and sour, salty, and EXTRA hot. This box comes with 20 individually wrapped pieces. (Comes in red packaging wrapper.)
TAMARINDO OR TAMARIND
Cooking and drinking tamarind products have become very popular. The tamarind or tamarindo is a well known ingredient in Thai and Indian recipes, they are also used in Mexico to make aguas frescas and dulces de tamarindo: tamarind drinks and candies.
The pods of the tamarind tree, which was brought to Mexico from India, contain large seeds surrounded by a sticky brown pulp, which is sold as tamarind paste for use in Asian cooking. Tamarind pods are sold in bulk and smaller bags catering to Thai, Indian and Latino communities.

I ordered 5 jars of the Salsa, as we love this on our Tacos. The product is great, but the outdate on the jars was just shy of 6 months out. I think, that when someone orders this many jars, that whomever prepares the order for shipping should check the outdates and pick jars with longer outdates.
I warmed the tortillas in the microwave before assembling my enchiladas. The tortillas rolled up nicely without cracking, which was what I was looking for in a tortilla. Very pleased. My only issue is that there was a delay in the tortillas arriving (4 days), an issue with UPS, not the store.
We had this candy when we visited Mexico and love it! We are excited to find it at your store. It tastes just like the one we had in Mexico!
The Molcajete is gorgeous, both the stone bowl and the pestle are carefully wrapped and secured in the package. We pre-treated by grinding rice before making guacamole, the guacamole is delicious.
This taco sauce is the best there is. It has a very strong tomato flavor and not vinegar tasting like most other sauces. I have not found any other sauce as good. It is especially important that it doesn't have any MSG in the ingredients. You will never try another once you've tried La Victoria.
Haven't used it yet, but it is exactly what I wanted!
