The guanabana is a refreshing Mexican and Central American fruit that goes by a few names: Guanabana, Cherimoya, and in Vietnamese it is Sinh To Man Cau. The fruit is creamy white and tastes like vanilla. It makes a sensational ice cream. The fruit appears green with geometrical scalloped groves. The seeds are round smooth dark and brown. The guanabana (Annona muricata L.), is also known as soursop or prickly custard apple. (guanavana)
