The food was very tasty, but I would never describe this as Barbacoa. I grew up and live in South Texas. The best local restaurants make their Barbacoa out of beef cheek meat. The texture is completely different than pot roast. You can clearly read "beef post roast" on Del Real Food's label. I'd describe this product as pot roast in a mild, Mexican-style red sauce. Again, the food tasted good, but I was expecting traditional TexMex cheek meat Barbacoa.
Merchant Response:Del Real Barbacoa is more like the authentic Mexican Barbacoa from Central Mexico, not like the TexMex Barbacoa. We are glad you liked the taste. Thank you.
