Ingredients
- Doña María Nopalitos, drained
- Ripe avocado, diced
- Tomato, finely chopped
- Red serrano pepper, finely minced
- White onion, finely diced
- Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions
- Drain and gently rinse the nopalitos, then pat dry.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and combine with tomato, red serrano pepper, onion, and cilantro.
- Fold in the diced avocado carefully to maintain its shape.
- Finish with a generous sprinkle of cotija cheese.
- Toss lightly just before serving.
Serving Tip: A subtle squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt can be added just before serving to heighten the flavors while keeping the salad fresh and refined.
