a pantry staple

This is, by far, my favorite salsa. After I moved back east from California, I embarked on a frequently unsuccessful search for a reliable source. I am grateful that I can order this and find a package on my front porch only a few days later.

Herdez is the BEST store-bought salsa I’ve ever tasted. It has the freshest taste--like I made it myself. In fact, I’ve stopped making my own...it’s that good! I use it on more than chips. I use Herdez Salsa on eggs, cottage cheese, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, burritos, baked potatoes, toast with cream cheese. Thank you for shipping my order so promptly.

Pectin?

I normally buy the medium salsa but bought the mild for a work gathering. I was telling some people how this is the best brand because of the natural ingredients. I proceeded to read the ingredients and was disappointed to read pectin and citric acid. Not the 5 ingredients I'm used to. It is still tasty, though.
