Ingredients
6 cups Maseca for tamales3 cans Chicken Broth1 cup corn oil2 tsp. Salt1 tsp. Baking powder1 large Rostisserie chicken1 can Green tomatillos sauce
Directions
1. With an electric mixer, blend the Maseca,Maizete corn oil,,salt,baking powder and the chicken broth to obtain a consistent mixture.Shred the chicken and marinate in the green tomatillo sauce.Add the marinated chicken to the mixture and keep blending to obtain a consistent mixture.Pour mixture evenly into 4-inch wide muffin molds.Bake for 20 minutes at 350* F.

Volume of Chicken broth please!

Would someone please tell me how much liquid volume is represented by the "3 cans of chicken broth"?
I have seen several sizes of can, and lately, most seems to come in a paper container.
Cans is just not an accurate volume of measure!
Cups, liquid oz. milliliters etc. would be far more useful!
I want to try this wonderful recipe!

Pros
- Great idea, especially if you wanted to eliminate the lard or oil that is traditionally in a tamal.
Cons
- Cans is not an accurate unit of measure, unless you know the size of the can!

I make these all the time. My husband is from mexico and loves these, they are a quick fix when you don't have the hours it takes to make real tamales.
