Ingredients

6 Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas or Corn Tortillas to make San Felipe Baja Style Fish Tacos1 pkg. (1 oz.) Lawry's® Chicken Taco Spices and Seasonings divided1/2 cup Sour Cream2-3 Tbsp. Milk1 Tbsp. Lime Juice16 oz. Cod or Orange Roughy Fish Filet,br> sliced CabbageGarnishes: Lime Wedges, Early California® sliced Olives, Salsa, chopped fresh Cilantro, shredded Cheese

Directions

1. Sauce: combine 2 teaspoons chicken taco spices with sour cream and enough milk to thin to pouring consistency; set aside.

2. Seasoning paste: combine remaining seasonings, oil, and lime juice. Brush seasoning paste over entire fish.

3. Grill or broil until fish begins to flake easily, about 10 to 12 minutes. Evenly divide fish among tortillas, top with cabbage and sauce, fold, and serve with lime wedges and garnishes.

not a real Ensenada fish taco recipe

Being from Ensenada, I know what the true recipe is like and this is not. The real recipe is simple. A piece of white fish fried (but you can grill), over a warm soft corn tortilla (use handmade corn tortilla preferably), then put some lime juice, shrered cabbage, around a teaspoon of a sour cream/half mayo mix (use thousand island dressing if you don't want to make a sour cream/mayo mix) , bandera/pico de gallo salsa (chopped onion, tomato, cilandro, a little bit of chile serrano), and after that a hot red hand made salsa (not a green tomatillo salsa, nor tabasco, tamazula- these are hot sauces not salsas). The other is scrit. If you put the ingredientes in
different order it wont taste the same.

i wanted an authentic recipe. no need for cheap replacements. some people take cooking seriously.

I would NOT recomend Mission Tortillas. I recomend homemade or Guerrero's Corn Tortillas
