RECIPE FOR “CHAMPURRADO”

Yields approx. 24 cups.
Ingredients:
1 Gallon of Milk (whole)
4 round tablets or 3 marqueta tablets of Mexican Abuelita Chocolate
1 Stick of cinnamon
1 cup of Cane Mexican sugar or light brown.
2 ½ cups of Maseca Traditional
Maseca Corn Flour
4 ½ cups of water
Instructions:
Pour into a large pot, milk, chocolate and cinnamon, to a boil, stirring constantly until the chocolate is being dissolved. Keep the cinnamon complete.
Add the sugar to the mixture, stirring from time to time.
In a blender, mix Maseca corn flour with the water until comes to a thick liquid mix.
Mix Maseca and water mix with the milk, chocolate, cinnamon and sugar mix, to a boil, stirring until obtain a consistent mixture. SERVE HOT AND ENJOYED.
