El Pinto's new Taco Salsa is fresh with all-natural ingredients, flame-roasted and hand-peeled green chiles with select tomatoes. This original El Pinto recipe is blended down to add a smoother, thicker consistency great for tacos, chips or adding flavor to any recipe that calls for tomatoes.
El Pinto Family History
Grandsons Jim and John Thomas took over the El Pinto business 10 years ago and have brought new techniques and technologies to the original recipes of old El Pinto. We specialize in flame roasted chile from the Hatch Valley. Our select chiles are grown exclusively to our specifications and we roast them the same way we have done for the last 35 years. The smell is intoxicating as we fresh flame roast our chile on the patio from July through October. Our salsa gained national recognition by winning a Scovie Award in the "Salsa Hot" category (second place).
