El Pinto's Red Chile Sauce uses hand-picked and sun-dried chiles for the best quality possible. To marinate meat simply add fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice to our red chile sauce. You can also use this product as a traditional New Mexican enchilada sauce by adding water for desired consistency.

Grandsons Jim and John Thomas took over the El Pinto business 10 years ago and have brought new techniques and technologies to the original recipes of old El Pinto. We specialize in flame roasted chile from the Hatch Valley. Our select chiles are grown exclusively to our specifications and we roast them the same way we have done for the last 35 years. The smell is intoxicating as we fresh flame roast our chile on the patio from July through October. Our salsa gained national recognition by winning a Scovie Award in the "Salsa Hot" category (second place).
