Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup of corn dough - masa de maiz 8 cups of water

Recipe Instructions:

Heat 6 cups of water in a pot. With 2 cups of water left over, dissolve the corn dough and pour it into the pot, straining it through a fine colander. Stir constantly until thick.

You can also make atole using Tres Estrellas Rice Flour instead of corn dough, or Maizena.

Serve your Mexican Atole with churros!
