1 cup of corn dough - masa de maiz8 cups of water
Heat 6 cups of water in a pot. With 2 cups of water left over, dissolve the corn dough and pour it into the pot, straining it through a fine colander. Stir constantly until thick.
You can also make atole using Tres Estrellas Rice Flour instead of corn dough, or Maizena.
