Preparation:



  • Clean shells in boiling water.


  • Drain can contents and rinse Roland Snails in cold water before using (For enhanced

    flavor soak or simmer snails in wine)


  • Place small amount of butter sauce in each shell, add snails, and then cover with the rest of the butter sauce. Place in hot oven until butter is bubbling. Serve hot.





Butter Sauce for 1 Dozen Snails:
Blend 6 tbsp. butter, 1 clove finely chopped garlic, 1 tsp. finely chopped shallots, 1 tsp. finely chopped parsley and salt & pepper to taste. A dash of brandy or Madeira may also be added.





Ingredients:


Snails, Water, Salt, Pepper, Laurel Cloves, Citric Acid.
